What do you think of this 1893 CC Morgan

The fact that it was bought from a facebook ad, makes me suspicious.
But Its listed as a VF and has the looks of an AU. toning and hit on the eagle breast makes me question authenticity.

What do you think. Genuine or counterfeit? And if Genuine what grade do you think it is?

It has the strong similarity to some of the Asian counterfeits, but I think you were aware of that.

 

The "9" in the date looks like the wrong shape to me. I think they put the "I bought it on Facebook" as an implied excuse as to why they didn't realize it's fake if someone accuses them of it. I think they know it's fake.

Also notice the date and MM photos are blurry. VF at best, lots of wear everywhere. IMO, fake.
