Wow, that 6 is sooo bad... even to me, and I know very little about this issue. How about the E in CENT where it looks like an F. Was there ever an original strike that looked like that? I'm looking at an 1858 version, the only one I have, and there is no sign of weakness in that area at all. The E in ONE is pretty ugly too. To bid that high on an ungraded coin without doing some pictoral research is a bit naïve. I quickly found great pictures in coin facts that confirm this one is bogus.
I‘ve seen many weakly struck 1857/58 cents where some of the letters were barely readable. I don‘t think similar strike issues can be expected, though, as the 1856 FEs are supposed to be proof coins.
