The pictures are a bit fuzzy, but I think it's natural. I'm a noob at this so don't take my word, but you see how the lettering is still silver? That is usually indicative of a natural tone.
Looks completely natural to me. sturm - based on your recent posts now that you know how to post pics, it seems that you have some concerns about the coins in your collection. But I haven't seen you post anything yet that is not in a PCGS slab. Now it's perfectly fine, encouraged even, for you to ask questions and post pics of your coins - if for no other reason than to share them with us. But if a coin is slabbed by PCGS, or NGC for that matter, then you really don't have much to worry about. Yes, the grade may be off by 1 point now and then, depending on who you ask of course. But there is virtually no worry about the coin having been harshly cleaned or being a problem coin of any kind. There is virtually no worry about the coin having artificial toning. And there is no worry about the coin being genuine. Now in regard to a coin being dipped - it's pretty much an accepted fact by the vast majority of numismatists that any coin older than say 20 years that is not toned in any way - has been dipped. But that is not considered to be a bad thing. By most anyway. True, there are those who prefer to collect coins with fully original surfaces. And the number of those people is growing daily and has been for the last 7 or 8 years. But there is still a very large portion of the collecting community, I would say a majority even, that prefer their coins to be untoned. And the only way they can own untoned coins, older coins anyway, is to own dipped coins. So relax sturm, you really don't have much to be worried about
Thanks for the opinion. You are right: I worry a lot about the originality and grades of even my PCGS slabbed coins. If there were a sticker that verified the sticker that verified the sticker that verified the original PCGS grades, I suspect I would still worry a lot about whether my coins were cleaned and the actual grade on the slab I know it's not a healthy mindset or way to collect, and I am trying to change, though.
