I've always been partial to the Japan 2 sen.

Wow, I just realized how woefully deficient I am in updating my photography. Other than Japan there just aren't a lot of images stored in my library. There are some truly lovely coins out there too.

I have many favorites, but the 50 sen double hoo bird is at the top of my list. Generally not too expensive (other than being silver) to find pretty ones both raw and slabbed.

More color and I've always have loved that center red that accentuates the sun:


And blast white gems.


I never get tired of these and have beyond way too many duplicates!

Correction. This is my final 1860 Cambodian 10 Centimes. The above pic in blue is one i seriously considered and a pic was still stashed in my gallery. Nice example however.
