I can't believe this thread. Isn't this supposed to be about coin collecting and not subversive information?
I'm confused. CLCT was sold months ago and is no longer publicly traded. https://www.businesswire.com/news/h...-Completes-Acquisition-of-Collectors-Universe
Got your attention, didn't I. I have no idea who most of the companies are being mentioned, nor do I send my coins off to be graded. I did get an email today from ebay saying there is going to be some legal changes and information will be forthcoming. The only contact I have with ebay is to buy something every once in a while. Are they going to start charging buyers? I wouldn't put it past them if they started charging something like they do at the auctions and have to pay a surcharge. So, what would the surcharge be on $4 - $10. That's about all that I spend on ebay. I could see them having surcharges as much as the purchase price, justifying that they need that money to operate. With all the smart people on CT, why can't we set up something like ebay for coin collectors only? That would be cool. I wouldn't mind paying a small surcharge if it went back in a fund for coin collectors.
