Terrible fake. People are actively bidding on this piece of crap? It is not even Beijing’s best. Uggh!

 

Here it is if you want to watch people get suckered. I found a fake 1924-S buffalo that was sold on ebay.

Can't be done. The administration here is really opposed to it, and they're the only ones with the power to allow it. I don't agree with the policy, but I accept it.

They typically don't allow that either. One account, one user name. They have made exceptions but they are few and far between.

Thing about it is to folks like us that look at coins all the time, it’s a fairly obvious fake. If I were a casual collector, this one might well fool me….. These fakes will spur a lot of potential new collectors on our hobby. I loathe these people.

 

It took me about 5min to learn that there are 3 die varieties for the 1856 FE. Thanks, Dr. Google. Now if I intended to bid on that coin, I‘d get a book first!
