2008 quarter

I found this coin in a roll it is in good condition what kinda error do they call this.Do coins like this has any value to them.

It is not a Mint Error. The Cupro-Nickel clad layer has Environmental Toning damage. Exposure to the elements such as dirt, soil, sand and/or water will change the color after a long time. Probably a metal detected coin that was put back into circulation.

Two out of three you see were I'm leaning at I thought it was a copper have came off the coin I heard so much about a coin like this I didn't know I really thought it was a true error.IF you had this coin in your hand and then take a picture of it it takes away every thing you are looking at when you look at it. Believe it or not this coin is probably more clean all the way around look wise the feel of it it in better shape than most of my Washington quarters that is what caught my eye.paddy man I don't question nothing you have ever told me that is why I say you are my guy we may got started on the wrong foot but I think we're good I remember growing up I could not stand some of the guys I was in school with want to play games like putting me down or making fun of the clothes I wear it didn't really bother me for real I was growed up to show no emotions but later on these guys now are best friends to day they know I'm just a phone call away that just might be me and you I like how you can hit on my coins cause you tell me how it is ask.me what in the world are you even looking at I get a lot of humor.paddy man do you think you are the best knowing about coins than anybody else. I will tell you all this he is a beast that is why we bump heads cause he is always right but I will tell you this guy's there are some right beside of him. I can't believe I can't get mountain man back on my post that bothers me and I like the guy. I am going to try something I'm getting a lot out of the reading I done know about what was going on for ever year once I lock end and no what I'm reading you can't beat me I could of went some were in school if I would got a chance math I was a wise for no farther than I went but I learned real quick that history was my favorite thing what is the odds 40 some years later what I like doing has a lot of history in it. I'm going to slow down I wanted to thank everyone that gets on my post really if you see something say something that is how I look at it you see it say it but I'm going to slow down what I post I'm going to hope there is something there and if you don't see it I will tell you why and how I see it that is like that quarter 2008 I have never seen one look so perfect than this coin but you guys say it could been on the ground I have to take everything you said about it and I can't see a quarter look so nice ant even hardly got a scratch on it that coin looks so different I mean the picture of it looks fake paddy man you have a good one buddy if you are for sure you see a error do me a favor please hit my post and tell me you see it too. That would tickle me to death I'm as gentle as a puppy I'm a really nice guy until you finally get to know how I am I never had a friend that I was not there for I've went past the code we don't bring people in but I have and I know why they Rob me and me giving them a home I would tell them to make your self at home but there are rules and you will have them every place you go some body going to tell you what to do pay a bill its part of life but I would bring these people in thinking I could change them and they would stab me right in the back. Getting off drugs you not you got to throw everything you got at it I know I did but I was one of the bad one's it took years of my life to do it and I still get up every day and thank God for you All guys I don't care if you believe it or not you guys are special and doing what you all do and I asked God to just look over me and keep me clean just for today and I been doing it for 10 years and I have talked in front of some of the most famous people in were I'm from we all get together there is about 8 of us I'm the new guy one is a governor hes the old man he will hurt your feelings but he is a good speaker some are teachers from college there mostly drinkers they have 40 to 50 years now they have 20 some years so I'm the youngest buy the way the woman went on got there bachelor degree and they was on the streets selling there body and then they were me I am proud to stand with these women and men if you got a heart you will drop a tear but are tears of happy I speak I'm that guy don't need no mike I have a great voice I was gifted with it my mom told me before she passed away at age 45 that I've would make one hek off a precher I get that alot I'm that guy I took everything it just was not one thing I took what ever was going on and the sky was the limit I can remember at the age 14 all ready was driving wakeing up going were am I how did I get here I would go to the door and my car would be seating there how I got home I have no idea I remember my mother always telling me that God was driving that car last night I always come in bouncing off the walls and she be setting there in here chair been praying over me that make it home and man I was young they should beat me. Dad said beating will only make it worse I remember my first drink I was 13 years I know this might sound crazy it is the gossiple truth I knew right then I love the taste of drink I was born with disease some people can drink two bears and put it down well I would drink 12 and want more I always wondered that how can he just drink one and shut off I never in my life could do that but that drink stared up a different types of drugs and I was like that with every thing I done I could not get enough i don't have no idea why I'm talking about all this who tells the world that he was just a drunk at 14 i do i am very opening about my problem as long as you keep that built in you you will never know the true meaning of beating this thing I've told my story over off hundreds of times about all the crazy stuff I done I don't talk like most speaker do ever body is different I feel like if you just set for a hour talking about what you did how I did it we'll they all ready done know what you are talking about that's why they're there. I talk about the stuff you can have when you finally get off that butt and start really liven how to take care of your family I didn't even realize were i live people come from all over the world to see and I have lived buy it and never went one time just to look all I had on my mind was my next high but you really from the bottom of your heart want to quit I will show you what I done it may be a little different in it but I will tell you this want be no different and that is you are going to have to work at this like you never worked at anything in your life if you don't change your ways you going to be 6 feet under or doing life in prison and you deserve better than that I would talk in front of the president we have all this power American people do I can turn on the news don't say nothing about how we going to stop these drugs just last week 8 people died 22 30 ever one with kids crazy I get so mad at my self are there something else I can do I am telling this thing is bigger than us I know I carried it for years before I could get it off my back I tell you how it happened in a flash ever ounce of energy that wanted them drugs were gone. I got in trouble with the law I got a 7 years sentence just got doing a 5 and then a 2 I was living in there me with kids people can judge me or what ever this talking tonight some one going to read every bit of this and going to get something out of it I'm sure it all happens different I done 3 years straight stayed in trouble fighting doing what I want to do well after they let me lose I had to go to a6 month program all the way 4 hours from home I've heard of this place before I got there how hard it was just to make it through the hole program not many this building is hook to a church I was like that is different I repesct church I was growed up in it. So I walked in there guys all ready coming up to me they were seeing if I was bringing anything in I was like get lost. In the system I have a name for my self I can take care of my own I seen a couple boys were I was in a different program now this is my 6 program there telling pretty much you don't get it right I'm about done with you
So the lady was checking me in was rude so I was like you going to act like that and I being nice so I show you so I'm talking to her stupid so they had to call back up when really she didn't have to do all that so that is the first day we'll they give me this consolor big black dude about 7 foot tall but his speech was about like my writing I didn't say much he told me to stay away from the woman she just like that now I got go in the guy office that running the place I'm what you call a good judge of Carter well when I made the turn eyes contact I knew right then and I'm telling my self be Bentley you ant going to make it I stuck my hand out to shake your hand. I was like we're I come from we shack hands its a respect thing I saw my papaw do it plenty and he was big as life so he pulled his arm back I was like you ant going to shake my hand I don't know we're youe hand been put me straight down right there I was like me and you ant getting off on the lane he was like I done your type I was like what my type cause if place here you call your little prison I don't think you know me what so I tell you what I have 6 months to do you get paid so much money me just walking in the door and so much more if I make it through this will be the last time I will be office until the day I'm done to get my paperwork work. That was just part of the day they had a special meeting in the church main guy wanting to talk man I roll up there I have shower shoes on didn't even have a pair of shoes to even wear that is were I was at in my life I'm telling you should have seen these guys there are 70 people that is all it would hold so no body didn't want to set up front right were I want to be I have never fear no man saw it look like 69 troops getting ready to go to war I mean they all set straight no sloushing hek I didn't know it's my first day i ant been there three hours he picks me out of everyone of us knowing we just had words ask me why am I got shower shoe on in the church that is all I got he was like you telling me you ant seen a man with know showes on his feet I thought this was a place to get help cause I can call My p o and get moved were they know what addition means and if you are trying to be funny I don't know what kinda cartoon place but we can turn it up side down before dark guy never meet had me a brand new Nikes be night time I will say buy the grace of God I made it Lord showed me things give me visions took that want out of me I left that place a different man thanks to God for giving me another chance he didn't have to even look my way but he saw a broke down man only thing was keeping on my own two feet is the toughest I had to fight to make it I went in there My last day my conslor made me look at my self and Bentley ever time we meet I want you to tell me what you see the first 3 months I lost just to prove I was not going no we're I would never been able to live with my self I never talked to nobody in my life it is were I started to be come a man and I mean a big man my conslor told me about half way through he was like you ever notice you are the last person I talk to before I go home and I leave here with a smile Bentley let me tell you something I been doing this a long time but there something in you that is so special I can't wait to I see you you put a smile on my face if you can put a smile on my face and that's is saying something I love how you stand up for what you believe you got all the tools you need there something special about you I just don't know what it is but the sky is the limit but I got woke up three nights in a roll at 2:30 in the morning ever night in theme Three nights was a picture of God and my mom plain as day it had been so many years since I seen my mom I got that picture I knew right there every thing was going to be all right that next Sunday they would let us go to church I know my Bible I had some qouts that God ask me to speak on it

It just like the bible if you don't believe in the bible that y not good how you think we get up look what we get up to but you do not say god got you sober they don't want to be that there trying to take all the pride what done every morning I pray to you what do you done know how they feel he told me to keep my faith in me I will do the rest so ever morning we all go to the church we done this 7 days week I would be setting there I could all ready fill that pull toeget up they're and do the best I can so would get up this hour post to be for us I'm like it is 8 :00 in the morning let us be happy that were sober guys I have watch how I say this but I don't see nothing wrong saying God is good that it simple little saying so I started it off like that I had ever body in the building people packing there bible Around asking questions the hole place flip over there were a few didn't believe like I did I know how they were I went to each one I did had to get it out In the open I told I know you don't believe in god but that is all right but I tell you what you can do this could be hard do you believe that you can get sober and live your life raise your kids I understand everything are saying it feels like you talking straight to me I will tell you I'm not I never center any body out if you start feeling that way that is God knocking on your heart I don't have no control everything that comes out of my mouth is for some body to listen this might be your last chance you may never get a nother chances I had a old man he was probably the oldest Guy in there he stopped me one he didn't talk to nobody but he started talking to me he knew just as much about the bible than I did I like you are not scared God looks for people like you he could give you gifts that normal people want never see. But he told me that you are being watched I done know everyone that is going to tell the main man I told let tell you something you are not God you might feel like you have power over us. And I can't even help my brother I asked him did he want help I can get him in a 45 days program he likes you are crazy it is just 45 days that ant nothing you done know what I went through I know I can't do all that 45 days might get his health back. Just needing some one to talk to about it he may brother were just a year a part I don't know I got it in God hands but what bother me is he don't care if he dies or not. Collection nut you another guy I like you guys know your stuff you guys too eat and sleep coins it's amazing how you guys can take a picture and know that stuff I give anything I could do that no collection nut I was not trying to say it ant I just wanted to give the coin the benefit of the doubt I mean you have to say something just going what was why it was like that see I do a lot of reading and about different errors I've seen and read about coins that look like that something about the copper or the silver look is off of it showing nothing but the copper see I will read this and it will tell me how it looks and what the error are called hek you can tell how much I thought it was cause it is so clean see I think like that too weather makes one looks like cause I've found them like that but they would be beat to death so I felt like I had that on my side cause if it was on the ground it would be scratch or Big places took out of it but this coin hardly even has a scratch so I thought that was on my side but you guys say it ant it ant you guys are like in my top to that I listen to but just because I say something back don't mean I'm saying you don't know cause this is the hole reason I took the picture I've had this coin for ever and I got it in a 2x2 see what I mean I really thought it was something I've seen coins like this they call them some kinda error I can't remember I've just seen pictures of them. If I was guessing you all are glad to finally see a true error every now and then I seen one back of this it was on coin talk pretty sure seems like collection nut and paddy man saying it is nice to finally a nice error coin seems like the boy had a brother throw the coin in his truck and went to look at it it's like the front was on the back but it is turned wrong from what I would get out of them mint department it would have something to do with maybe it's got hung and it got hit again and it turned at the same time what was so cool about it was like that on both sides it was a cool piece and the coin itself was in pretty good shape I go down and read and look what they thought they had most time it turns out not to be nothing. I tell you what I figured I would have run into buy now is a cud error or I looked over it one. If someone got a good picture of a cud error can you send me a picture of it thanks guys.

 

Cuds are formed when a Die Break occurs on the edge of the Die. The missing piece will make the metal flow into the void when the blank planchet is struck. It is not added material.

 

Thanks Paddy Man now that is what I'm talking about right there I got one coin I have had it for a long time but it has like a shape to it hek fire can't explain it that way they all got like a shape it's the bottom of a Penny's I think it's in the 60s but this looks like a piece of material or a object got caught maybe when it went down is that possible paddy man you know that mint department better than you no your own name is it possible in the mint department for a object to get caught in between while it goes down to put the front on is that possible cause that is what this looks like it hit around the bottom of the rim and came on up in the burst the main body just back of the intincle VDB can't spell tonight.

Also.. Just because a coin looks strange doesn't automatically make it a mint error. Coins can be damaged so many different ways in circulation

Here are examples of my Metal Detected coins I have found over the years. Clad can change color when exposed to the elements. They are NOT mint errors. It also happens to Nickels.

 

So it's pretty much a coin that didn't get all the hard wood in it I'm talking like a carpenter I use to build house so I look at it like this if I have a 8 foot Wall 12 font long if I leave one piece of wood out of that wall that would be a cud its. Missing part it. Now that coin I was talking about it really ant missing nothing it just got hit very hard in a werid way it looks like it being hit that close buy some body it looks like it would move the coin enough to make a bad spot and if you put it into a vise it would make some kinda mark on the hole coin if I can remember right I wish I knew were it was I would send you a picture Paddy Man I thought of a hundred things I put it this way you ant going to take two fingers and bend a Penny'two gather just growing up I know if I put a lot of pressure here something got to give here anytime you put pressure on something if you ant got this thing holding good it is going to move specially on the end and it hit all the way down I find that coin I've thought of a thousand things now went I got wise and order I went to the factory now they ant much I've not done with metal different types of metals I have run robots now when it comes to robots a line press operator now we're talking bending metal for car and truck parts now these parts have to be perfect now I can go to my press for tonight ever thing is working great I can turn around and look back something went wrong something gotein the press just a extra piece of metal broke off and started putting places in it but only a machine could do this I would love to walk in just for a few minutes and see how it is layed out now the only reason I ask questions I'm here to learn and you guys are doing everything you can do and I appreciate I don't stop Paddy Man I might get in my feeling it really ant nothing you guys have done but some coins I will say something and I know you got 30 years experience I done know that my dad 65 he taught me how to cut timber and now I can out cut him me having a bad day I guess I just put a lot of thought in a coin it can't speak for it self what I don't understand is that I could throw everything in the world at you about a coin and know it's not a error like the mint department don't do no wrong they have to make mistakes got things have to get in in-between the process were it puts the front on our the back on there have to be a mess up every now and then ant they paddy man you know this every thing I throw at you is not a error I know you don'tmess with me like that I just ant found a error do you know how long has been since I have found a error expect the 1957 I found the other day still doing research on it it crazy it like half the markers are there and some of the markers ant there could a man find a new varieties

I have 36 years of collecting mint errors.
The majority of issues you find in circulation is just damage. I own hundreds of errors. Truthfully.. Most I have purchased from reputable dealers. I no longer have time to search for new mint errors. I don't need to because I have many examples of each type of error.

Man I no some places ever Man dream places I know we're my papaw lived when he was a kid now you would never know that they were old homes in there 50 to 60 years ago I guess right own back I believe my papaw was one of the last two come out theme hollars got on top build a house it is still standing but I want to go down in those mountains and check it out as I know there never been nobody on it they was a rumor went around that this guy had a couple mason jars full of old coins and old money they say he died out he didn't have no family they say it still down in the hollar they said he buried his money all kinds of stories back my way I'm from the mountains they didn't have much but I remember my papaw and the rest of the bunch his age they had one thing in common they thought they was talking it with them you did not ask my papaw for one cent I would like to find his old penny jar never heard no body even talk about it there 17 kids my dad the baby boy and he 65 so I did get some pennies after he was dead and gone my grandma told me I could have them they look like they just come out of the mint department I have a big bag of them there all about in the 60s but I seen a picture of the 1964 sms I think I'm right they put you the mind of them but I don't think they be no way I don't think they made too many off theme extra coins I guess that was back when they having coin shortage I have never posted not a one of them there so nice I don't like to mess with them much if I thought they were worth anything I put them up right I got the 2x2 my wife got me a bunch I started finding just crazy how many wheat pennies I thought they was going to be something good I mean for a brown these a few that are all right looks like some old person coin collection I would like to got it all I collect all the coins I have a bunch of half dollars John f Kennedy I got a 1967 this thing is sharpe I really never got into the half doallars but this guy I new was needing money so I bought a bunch of coins for hardly nothing I kinda felt bad he give me a price there was no jewing down he was down far enough I thought about give him some More money but All different kinds of silver Way more just on junk price but he new I collected coins so he didn't junk none of them most people would.

 

But hek I didn't even know the 1967 half dollars had silver in it might be the last year. He seating on a little junk of money right now he got about 40silver doallars one of them is from cc I think the rest is all s I want the cc I can't buy them he wants 500 hundred dollars for all of them together we figured it up the other day you get just a little more than that junk price I don't want to junk price I would like to keep them there In good I mean there is nothing missing on the coins I have asked a couple people if there interested the only thing is shipping it would cost a little bit to get them shipped some body have to figure out who's going to pay for the Coast. Every body I know In a nother county or Way off I be afraid to have them shipped for sure have to get a tracking device what ever that cost I had some body

 

You have ever error they have on the site like copper coins or other sites is that the hole point is to have ever error that comes out you ant seen an error that you might not have you try to get it

 

Do you have the 55 doubled die The 69s doubled die 71 a 72 do you have any of the new newer ones like the 83 doubled die reverse any of the 82 doubled die reverse zinc Penny's do you even look at any of the new coins if it ant least memorial building and down what is that 2008 and down . So you don't do any of them I really ant in to it if they ant old some guy said it.best if it ant 63 or down I don't even think I'm in to theme I tell you what I am looking for 59 and 59 d I have one that is close it has a odd color to it but it is nice I love the 59 I don't know what it is about it but I love everything about it I know it is a big change from the wheat Penny's to the memorial building but there is more to it than that.
