There’s a man on the moon too I think. I’ve got meat on the grill so can’t double check.

Well. I have searched high and low for my Marshall Islands Discovery coin. I can’t find it anywhere. What I have discovered is I need a better organization system for my collection.

Here are pictures of a Apollo-COHO metal. Its 2.75 inches by .875 inches. I've only seen 1 other and it also belongs to a space nut. I was part of the NASA team that supported this mission when I worked at a tracking station in North Carolina. I spent 42 years working for NASA and loved every minute.

That is so cool! It's also amazing that you helped support the ASTP mission!

I've been very interested in the USSR space programme - still searching for the gold medals for Yuri Gagarin and Valentina Tereshkova

That thing is amazeballs! The detailed vehicle on top of the medal is really something. Any idea how many of those they made?

Great bunch of coins and medals and memorabilia! I'm so motivated that I'll see what I can find.

Poland - 1978 20-zlotych - someone more knowledgeable or motivated than I can explain what it commemorates.

Here are some tokens or commemoratives I accumulated over the years.

Very relevant to "space" but I don't know if entirely relevant to this thread.

Some Great coins and medallions everyone!!!

I've got a couple space themed coins, but they've already been posted... Apollo 11 50th 5 oz., Ikes, SBAs (which use essentially the same reverse design as Ikes). I really enjoy space themed coins/medallions, but I collect enough other stuff that I generally don't buy them. For space based coins/medallions I try and get mission flown items. Here's an Apollo 7 flown Robbins medallion, which is roughly the size of a half dollar.

That's amazing. I seem to find a bunch of unflown Robbins Medallions for sale from the shuttle era but often the flown one's are hard to come by.
