    I love to use my imagination and think up possible ways a coin like this could have that damage.
    Coin was wedged in old fashion caster wheel on a cart used in a hospital with linoleum floors. Worn down over time and then fell out. A recently discharged patient found and spent it. It was given as change to Felicia. See, mystery solved. LOL
