I picked up this in a group of Roman coins for assessment, and I am struggling to ID it. One side appears to be a Tudor Rose with Crown above, but the other looks like a Russian two headed Eagle. Writing reads BEATI REGINA, so I checked out Hungarian coins on Numista but found nothing that fits. Any ideas? Measures about 19mm and appears to be thin copper or bronze.
@PaddyB this is something I found on the web. Might give you an avenue to explore Jetton Elizabeth 1 in lead or pewter, these believed to have been struck in London around 1574, probably as political medalets or counters, with Crowned Rose BEATI REGINA Reverse with double headed eagle, weight 3.7 grammes,
