I got em all slabbed, but it was me who did the slabbin I love the look, and now they're protected more than they were before. My favs are: 1813 1C G4, 1846 1C VF35, 1864 2C XF40, 1852 3C VF20, 1857 1C (eagle) VG10, 1862 1C G6, 1930 25C F15, and my golden 1945-P 5C in MS64! BTW, the first G in GCGS is the first letter of my name
you can find em online if you google coin supplies most coin site you'll find will have them under cases
They turned out very professional looking, and this is one way to get the grades that you want. Hopefully you don't get a cease and decist PM from PCGS.
I agree! I would love to see a close up of that war nickel Are those bar codes real, or just for looks? It would be neat to have a bar code scanner hooked up to your computer so that you can keep inventory
I worked up a prototype of a slab myself some time back, here it is? :smile My thinking is that I could do a sliding scale on submission fees, the higher the grade desired the higher the fee.
A simple internet search will turn up free software to convert text to bar code, then just cut and paste.
The bar codes are there for looks, that's all In one of my other threads there's a close up of the war nickel. Check it out if you like.
Would you guys grade this MS64 or would it be one or two points higher or lower? The only real marks are on the middle of the reverse.
