Hi CT Folks, I sent my 3 Legger to NGC for "Apperance Review"

    I have to agree with all the previous members who stated the coin will be returned in it's original holder, without a serious consideration to submit the coin to NCS for any restoration effort. As I recall the coin, it was a nice looking specimen, but IMHO it was a "problem" specimen to begin with.

    This coin does not meet the criteria of those efforts.

    That is very nice for an AU58, I'd bet it would grade higher if re-submitted to another TPG.

    I'm with NotSure...if the problem was big enough to do this I would have returned it.
    And I'm with Doug too as I dont think anything will change on the NCS/NGC side.
    But my fingers are crossed for you to get an upgrade. G/L

    It COULD grade higher at NGC or PCGS, but as far as betting on it? I'd only bet on it upgrading if it was sent to SGS (not SEGS), or possibly ICG or ANACS, but with these services, it will be bid on as the AU58 it really is.
