It looks MS but hard to tell how high ... Oh darn. I'll go low and guess a MS64 .

If genuine, it’s an MS-64 or 65 and probably bright enough to make the Red color. There are so many fakes of this coin, I hesitate to say it’s real from these photos.

The background appears to be that of a questionable ebay seller... I would shy away as it will likely not be a lustrous in hand and quite possibly a problem coin at best.

I see an MS64 or 65 coin here.
The pictures look a little manipulated, though so maybe I am missing something. Looks mike mintmark location 3 off the top of my head. maybe I am wrong.

    Looks real to me!

I don't trust the images enough to say if it's real. It's a pretty coin, maybe 64 or 65.

It's hard to see any blemishes if they're there. Without a better look, I'll guess MS64RB.

If you own this, congratulations are in order as it appears you have a very high grade specimen of a very desirable coin. It needs to be holdered ASAP...... If these are sellers photos and this is a purchase you are looking to make.... You have to ask yourself why a coin of that caliber is not holdered already.

it very well could have been tpg graded at one point. Likely a details grade.....

The 1909-S-VDB is not one of those coins that you buy raw unless you know exactly what you are doing.

The background appears to be the same background used by a notorious EBay seller. It is an assumption at best.

    MS64RB if genuine.

Many reasons/circumstances for not already being slabbed. It's genuine, to be sure...I'd say 65RB, maybe even 66...have seen far worse graded 65 and higher in both PCGS and NGC slabs (and this is not "far worse"). Nice coin.

I am not a TPG enthusiast but I would never purchase a out of slab and not graded 1909 S-VDB. To many fakes out there. Be safe, not sorry! Good luck.

Not common but not rare either. I would wait for one that's authenticated.
