Hello, I have a 1852 "trime"... It was a three-cent piece and from my BREIF Google search, this coin should be worth over $100... However... The one i came across had a small hole in it where someone decided to make it into a necklace (I have as few coins people have done that too.. necklaces, belt buckles... so on.. Grr)... But its nice to think I came close to maybe having something of value, lol Thank you, -Jason
There is still some value in that coin as to certain collectors of holed coins. I believe that there are a couple of members that are putting together a holed type set.
