Yep REALLY cool. It's hard enough to find the Ike's sometimes. Searched 2 boxes of halves right before Christmas. Both shutouts. Also searched box of Nickels. Averaging 1 wartime nickel per box.

Went through 1K in halves today. Got my first silver shutout in I dont know how long... :( However, I did find 2-2001P, 1-2005D & 1-2008P and a 1974D DDO :D I guess that takes the silverless sting out a bit.

I just went through a $500 box. A boatload of bicentenials and real shiney 89P's.

The only coins of interest were 2 from 200x.

Maybe I'll do better with the $300 box I have downstairs...

YEA!!!!!! So I live in a smaller city and one of my banks has a Coinstar type machine.. I have never found one that took Halves but today It jammed on me and when they opened it up I saw It had halves.. I could see a Franklin through the Plastic.. I asked If they could get me the bag before they send it to the reserve.. The teller called the head office and they told her it takes 2000 coins to fill the bag.. but that takes forever so she could sell me whatever is counted by the machine..
She looked at the Log and said it had not been full and replaced since Late 2006..So the coins that are in there have NOT been searched for a while.. It has a count of 864.50 Right now,, I DONT have the $$$ AHHHHH!!! She said she would hold them for me till PayDay!! YEA!!!!
I will let you all know!!!

    Pennies

As noted previously, I am mixing in a few penny boxes now. I went to a bank to get a box and they had a bunch of rolls from customers so they made me a "box". I found lots of 2009's, a fair amount of wheats, and 6 BU rolls of 1968S pennies.

I have only found a few "S" pennies so it was pretty cool. I am going to post in another thread to see if they are worth more then the $3 lol. They are very nice!
