I have a counterfeit DVD from China that is in English and W/ English subtitles that were added by someone who knew how to write Words but must have never heard an English sentence. I think the same guy is making this coin..
Oh my gosh I just love how nuts these Chinese are.. I bet its made of Plastic or Aluminum...

It almost makes me want to have a set .. A set I will call "Bizzaro World Coins"

    hobby protection act???

Even thought the coin is ~1.5" in diameter, it looks like the word "copy" is still smaller than required by the Hobby Protection Act (however, I could be wrong).
Strictly speaking, it isn't a copy of anything.
Thanks for pointing this out. I needed a laugh. BGSU just lost in the final sections to Idaho 43-42.

    But also see:

    110475392390 and 380192490709

Too bad it's not a 1932-D hobo quarter, I think I know a buyer in the market for such things.

He might mean White Metal which is an alloy usually containing Antimony, Tin, & Copper and has been used in the production of medals and some US pattern coins. I own an 1881 Surrender at Yorktown medal with a white metal composition. Here is a photo.

I am not saying he knows what he is talking about or that the thing he sold is white metal. I am only saying that the possibility exists.

I think the word "COPY" is not actually on these "replicas". I think it is edited in.

I think the funniest part is the store categories on the left hand side of the auction. The seller has a listing of all the types of replica coins they sell. Then there is a category for Authentic Coins. There is one coin listed in the category.

Absolutely Classic, thanks for the laugh Travis.:smile

  19. Technically that's NOT a copy, as it's their own creation. It's kind of cool in a sick, twisted way.

White copper can also mean Coppernickel. due to the color and the specific gravity is almost identical to that of copper.

No bids?! It should be worth the $2.90 in shipping fees alone! OMG, that is way too funny. I think I'll wait for "the other white copper".
