Moen... By the sounds of your Title: seems you have been hanging out over at CU?? When did you ever become interested in currency? Anyway, glad you did and happy to see you here as well. Stick around.. RickieB
While these are most of my Binaries I think I have another 20 to 30 trinaries. Sorry for the size of the file, it was the only way to get a large group like this to show up. Hope it is clear enough to see??? It will probably take a while to load for someone with a slow connection!
Sweeeeet Darryl, just wondering if you were going to save any for the rest of us? LOL!!!!!!! Just out of curiosity, do you all buy these notes or actually find these in circulation? RickieB's and Urbanchemist's are Unc so where is a good place to get some interesting serial # notes?
Thanks Was thinking of cornering the market on 65 notes until I realized how expensive it would be. Over the last 12 months I have probably only bought 10 binaries and maybe 25 to 30 trinaries (which are much less expensive as most are circulated). With the trinaries I try to find notes that are 1 digit off from being a binary. I figure that leaves a couple hundred 2006 binaries I have missed out on. My math may be off a little but you get the idea. I have been trying to branch out to large size notes but honestly I have been a little distracted with the Vignette stuff lately. When the opportunity presents itself and the money is available, I pick up a few more.
Found this one just today! Canadian $5 bill with a mismatched prefix APF/APE. These are cataloged slightly higher than the ones with mismatched digits in the serial numbers.
That is the correct word for it, but I like the "radar" slang as it reminds me of "Radar" from MASH...lol.
