1940 Lincoln roll with toning

    Can anyone comment on the toning of this roll of Lincoln cents?

    I'm not sure if it's just how it was photographed, but it's hard to tell what kind of toning this is.

    I've never had a roll of Lincolns this old before, and I'm sure the bidding is going to get crazy high on this before it ends.

    It's weird toning, thats for sure, but nothing I've never seen before.

    Looks artificial to me. I'd recommend to stay away from that auction. ;)

    The bidding is only up to $4.65. I wonder if a lot of people are seeing the same problem.

    Defintely looks blowtorched. Or he cooked them for too long. Defintely artificial eitheir way.

    These look nearly identical to some cents I heated in the oven 10 years ago. I'm not advising you do this btw...I regret it.
