a few of these need up grade.but most are not to bad.second coin bottom left is bluing from the whitman with interceptor so beware..ty
Those are really nice. I really like the row right after the steels. Are they 40's? I can't read the dates, but they're beautiful. I took all my pennies out of the album pages to put them in a new book, and they're still sitting in a box.
Good going. Now are you going to start working back to 1909? If so, things will go a bit slower but you'll be happy watch the collection grow.
thank you for reponding to my post they often go unnoticeed.theres a few i want to upgrade on that page like the 42-d,42s,43-s.47d,48-d,48s,49.and the49-s that the folder messed up.the rest on that page goes to 1950-s...those are all 40s going from 1941 with every date and mint mark up to 1950-s...yes i am working back to 1909 almost have most but not in the shape these are.one i know ill never get is the 1909-s -vdb..and a few in the 20s and the rare ones in the 30s but you never know.
im working on the before dates.so far from 1909 to 1919 im missing 13.and from 1919-d to 1930 im missing 10.so i think im doing ok so far.ty
Nice going! If I were to complete a subset of cents, my next step would be to have everything from 1934 and on, as you can get anything since then at a fairly inexpensive price. In fact, that's just where I am right now. My next coin, going backwards in time, is to find a nice 1933-d. After that, I'll think I'll skip on the 1931-s for now (perhaps for another decade or two <g>), and my next hole after that is a 1924-s . . .
thank you its hard to get some of the rare dates...my way of thinking is when i see how many they made i cut that in half.because i know for the longest time i hated cents.wonder how many are at bottom of lakes put on railroad tracks..etc.and the half thats left someone already has them
Very nice group of Lincoln's. Thanks for sharing. Incidentally, your coins (specifically first coin in 2nd row and the next to last coin in the next to last row) display that particular color of copper (e.g. light chocolate/beige) that I find very appealing on copper including large cents.
sorry for the bad picbut this is the next pageof the folder.it starts at1951 to 1960..the last role is 1960sm lg date.and 1960D sm and lg.ty
It took me 8+ years to fill my first 41-up book, collecting from roll searching and buying fine or better cents from a neighbor. I have 11 sets now, but none this nice.
