    Perhaps some die chips as well. It seems like you have something going on between E and PLURIBUS, around the ONE and the ME in DIME, in and around STATES and lots of radial lines on the obverse. The poor dies for this coin have about had it.

    If I didn't know better I would say this was a clad zinc coin instead of copper. :)
