I tried to order them from the bank but they said they can't order them anymore and that is from a bank that gets me halves when I ask by the box...

Can anyone else get ike's from their bank when they order them?

Never dump where you pick up. Never.

Many banks have a fee policy that is not implimented until they get a customer who is abusing them. Spread out the load between banks if you are doing volume.

I have accounts at six or more banks and spread my dumps between 8 branches in rotation.

    Stay under the radar.

Went thru 6 rolls of nickels and could not believe my eyes. A 1914-S Buffalo Nickel that appears AU-BU with a pretty good strike. Now, to find out if it is genuine (I believe it is) because the coin appears to have been cleaned. Absolutely no toning or rub marks. The 6 rolls were all put together by hand as the wrappers appear to be old. The only other find was a 1951-S, F and a 1954-D EF.

When you say dump, do you mean in sacks or in rolls?? I dont know, I asked for 20 bucks in pennies the other day and it was like an event for them. 2 people had to get involved and took like 10 minutes.....

I dont wanna bring the rolls back now and ask for 40 more....??

I dont know how to do this without getting cold shoulders from now on..

I am in a dry spell but I found this just now. It is a lot better than what Ttis scan shows. This is the forth 1959 and/or 1959-D I've found in six months.

the problem when it takes two people is when they have to get it out of the safe instead of their drawer when they don't have enough is anything that comes out of the safe has to have two signatures on the slip...hope this helps

try to dump at another branch or different bank, rolled, unless the have a free coin counting machine, those save a lot of time and teller confusion.

After I go through the halfs, I send the halfs when I go on vacations or trips. The smaller ones, I take back, if they have a free coin counter. Other wise some banks want you to re-roll them and put your name and phone # on them. If the bank you go to alot and knows you they may not require you to do all. :)-O)

    Dumping Coins

I founds banks with free coin counters. TD Banks have large free public coin counters ("Penny Arcade"). Some other banks have the commercial Coinstar machines also and waive the fee to use them if you are a customer.

Good luck. Hope you don't have to roll.
