his eBay user name says it all, ibuyeverything(bunch of blah blah blah nubmers)... and they found a buyer that buys everything too! waste indeed.
whats with everything being 1925? I wonder if the guy has someones stash who saved all his birthyear cents?
Yep - I caught that t$. But as for a waste - well I could point to a bunch of auctions where they wasted more than $0.99 and the seller honestly said messed up. But, hey at least it was free shipping.
That's one of the things I like about eBay. The pool of potential buyers is so large, there can be a buyer for just about anything. Of course, I'm the one that got into a bidding war over a Rice-a-Roni spoon rest, so I don't really have room to talk.
I thought you were talking about the shipping. He sold it for $0.99 (less eBay & PayPal fees) and now he has to pay $4.85 for shipping!
Wow! That is taking messed up to a whole nother' level. I don't know why one would even sell such a coin for so low, and have to pay so much more than what the coin is worth, for shipping.
Here is my laugh for the day http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160390236681 oh wait he must have forgotten "WORLD COIN HODGEPODGE-LOTS OF 19 ALUMINUM COINS- LOOK (#160367019473)" or "WORLD COINS- TWELVE MISC COINS-ALL OVER 150 YEARS OLD (#160365341611)" He is getting a little old so it may just be Alzheimer's talking in his sales pitch...
