I've went through a bunch never seen one look like this one it looks like the hole front has a nice major doubled die obverse in the word liberty and in god we trust and the date you can see it plain as day in my pictures. These are coins I put back months ago thinking there something going on with them I got a few so don't want to bother you guys but I think you will like some of these coins been looking at them all night I know all of them would not be good but some of them have to be some are so strong you don't even need a glass to look through.
Get some rest and look again. I know you take better photos so why would you post an obviously blurry one of just the obverse? You are beginning to look like a troll and you don't want that label.
Mountain man you seem like a good guy but I think I have been labeled about every thing you can think of on this site. If most of these guys really talk the way they want to talk to me but they can't cause they don't let people talk to one like that I wish they would let people talk they want to I bet I would be right I'm a mind reader I know how cares about this hobby and the one that really care.
Nobody wants to see you leave, a bit of thought on your part and you would realise that all these members are looking at and replying to dozens of threads, their time and knowledge is free. If you could show references to your claims of research it would go a long way. Also answering questions to your threads, not post and move on to the next one. I, personally, have asked you more than once to show your claimed resource references, or a clearer close up image and have never been given a satisfactory response. Written conversations do not convey accurately the writers intent as they can be interpreted in many ways by the reader, you are not being attacked, but trying to be helped. A thick skin is required for forums and an understanding of what others are doing for other members when on-line. Good luck
I like this site it's not no body it's me I get so mad at my self why I have such a issue with a doubled die coins I will really think I got something and it ant nothing it's just me I really try man. I was just looking at a 68 the word liberty looks doubled die but it's probably nothing don't even want to post after all this stuff this morning. I got I don't know how many pretty much that I need to walk away from it for awhile I do that what would I come back for go through the same thing again I can't keep doing this to my self. I'm not going to keep putting my self were people can make fun the way I write it sounds fine to me most of the time I'm just asking do you see anything I'm not no professional at this or I would be were you are at helping people.
There is a difference between a doubled die coin, and a coin that has doubling from other causes. When you see, and learn the difference between a true doubled die, and those coins with common mechanical/ejection doubling, you'll save some of your eye sight and frustration.
There are many members who struggle to understand what they see on a coin, you are not alone. I do not know if you learn better through text or with imagery, but I will repeat my, and others, advice. Also, look at all the images of DDO and DDR etc. Start to train your brain to recognise what a true doubled die is and what happens when it strikes a planchet. It takes time and a lot of study, but if you want to save yourself a lot of heartache and frustration, it needs to be done. Put your coins away for a couple of hours per day and read, look and start to learn. Best of luck.
That's what I'm going to start doing this guy seen a doubled die obverse on a 1960d small date I posted a couple days ago he said Bentley I think you found one it's in the word liberty the letters in and the number 9 he is wanting a nother look at it now can't find it I will could not went far when I post it see what you think or see.
