Hey all. I'm learning, but still terrible at this grading thing. I've got this one that I feel is undergraded as it 'seems' better than others of the same grade. Curious on your input. Thanks for your time.

MS 62. Looks like a few big hits might be holding it back a bit. Above the eye, and in front of the nose.

I think it's an MS63. It has some dings in the focal areas on the obverse which bring the grade down. That, combined with the fact that the 1881-S is one of the strictest graded Morgan's...I don't see this coin any higher.

I like 63, I think the blemishes are slight. Looks nicer than the 81-S I'm fixin' to send in.

Based solely on the average/limited pics, I'd say 63...maybe on the up-side toward a 64 and maybe PL in either case. Everyone has coins they feel have been under-graded, that's for sure.

MS 63. Too many bag marks, especially on the obverse, to grade any higher.

MS62 PL on the label, but more like a MS63-64 PL 81-s probably the most harshly graded morgans (as they one of the most common in high grade)

    Ms 63.
You are good at this. I have a 65 81s that I was comparing it to, maybe that was over graded. I appreciate your input.

Looks like a typical decent MS64. A few less blems, then maybe a 65.

Bag marks, striation lines obverse and reverse, nick above eye. MS-60, it's a keeper. Thanks for sharing it.

I think the MS63 is about right. The chatter on the face brings it down, IMO.
