This was in a small package that I purchased and never opened back in 2014. Oh the coins and other things that I’m finding. She’s absolutely beautiful, a 1924 $20.00 gold coin. @furryfrog02 Posted as promised. This should put a smile on any face. It sure did on mine. Lol
David, you make me so mad! I wish that I could simply afford a gold coin, let alone, forget that I had it.
How in the world do you forget about a gold coin ??? Are you 101 years old. Geez! I think you also forgot that you gave it to me and forgot to send it to me. lol
Sorry Chris. I can’t believe everything I have that I haven’t opened. It’s from years of self abuse, all from working too hard and having no time for myself.
Now that’s funny. Too many hours at work. 40 at regular pay, 20 at overtime and 20 or more at double time. I just worked and bought coins, mowed the lawn, ate, showered and slept. I’m glad to be retired. Now I have time for everything I forgot about.
I think that members need to remember that Dave worked for the USPS and is used to having lots of unopened envelopes and packages around him, so forgets about them. LOL
This also reminded me to haul the gold I didn't sell at the weekend show out of my backpack and back to the SDB, before it became a pleasant surprise for someone else at my expense.
When mine arrived I just scanned it delivered, threw it in my safe and took it home at the end of the day. Then I forgot about it. I even packed the priority flat rate envelopes into a larger box. I’m still working on that box but I’m down to 11 left unopened. At least I’ve gotten through 21 of them. Lol
