Woodmen of the World is a fraternal organization, and a fair amount of information can be found on the internet. Many of their tokens have the motto Dum Tacet Clamat, which means "Though silent, he speaks". I have a dozen or so of these tokens, but I do not recall having any reference books that mention these tokens. The ones that I have were all purchased for under $10. These tokens can have some interesting designs.

It only took me a year to come back, still a little confused about this site, Thanks for the info.
Now can some one help me with a Jefferson nickle, came out of a storage unit, marked "Scored edge", which it has. Cannot seem to find any information or value on this one.
Would send photo if I knew how.

You'll have better luck getting an answer to your second question. Jefferson Nickel experts may not read your thread about the Woodmen of the World token.

As a side note, Woodmen Road in Colorado Springs was named after a TB infirmary operated by the Woodmen of the World circa WWI.

Might be helpful to start a new thread in the US Coins forum.

    Moxie,

Go to the top of this page and click on the 'Forum' link directly below the Talk in the CoinTalk banner. That will open a page that lists all the different forums. Click on the appropriate forum (Probably 'US Coins'). Click on the 'Post New Thread' button; that will open a new window. Give your new thread a title (e.g., Scored Edge Jefferson Nickel) and type the body of your message. Click 'Submit New Thread' and you're done.
