Slow morning, but i think my new carries and coin purse brought good luck! Thanks again @Beardigger, i took your father's SLQ and that gorgeous Buffalo to work with me today. Still plenty of luck in em. Maybe one more day of fun with their long lost cousins, then back into retirement.

No complaints. I know the whole site was hoping I'd get skunked on the S mint marks today, and i almost was, but then...


Indeed, that's an S.

 

Not as gangbusters as my usual Mondays but, I'm ok.

Funny thing with those W mint mark coins. Now that i know about the 2019 cent, i dug out 2 containers of cents that weigh about 25 lbs each and started going through on my own time. That's some job. But I'm slightly crazy, so it's perfect for me. Can't wait to find one.

Glad to hear their MOJO is still working. I'd put them in that coin holder you got (protected of course) and attach it to my key chain and carry it around.

 

I have very strict rules about what just gets thrown in and what is on the "endangered species" list. Your coins are in the "endangered species" list. They'll be treated with the utmost respect. Like a said, a day or two carry with their cousins, then back to the flip. Sigh. Thanks again.

 

Interesting fact about yesterday's W finds, all three were found within 90 dollars of quarters, 360 quarters. No joke. None for the rest of the day of course, possibly the rest of the week, who knows, but those three were in about 360 quarters.

About time. I've seen roughly 10,000 of these in about 3 days. Had to find one eventually.

Five W by 10:30 am Tuesday. I'm averaging 8.2 a week.

So, skunked on W this afternoon, AND no S mint marks at all today. So they were ticked, but not furious.

Plus, three things are giving me a really hard time with those cents. First, they smell terrible, second, they're just nasty, and D, I've seen like 300+ 2019 cents between yesterday and today, and none of them had that W mint mark. What fun is that?

@CoinJockey73 The 2019 W cent was only given as a premium with the 2019 Proof and Silver Proof sets. There are none made for general circulation. They MAY show up in circulation IF somebody cashes one in , but chances are slim.
