So, I really enjoy studying the Washington Quarter and I'm trying to get better about identifying RDVs as I work to assemble a set with all the die types. Below I have 3 SMS coins one from each year. SMS coins from 1965-1967 are known to fairly commonly have either RDV-004 or RDV-005. Problem is, those two die types are nearly identical and I'm still learning. There is belief that all 3 years were also produced with RDV-003 reverses but as far as I am aware none have been confirmed. There is also belief that 1967 exists with RDV-006 reverses but again...none confirmed. I believe all of these coins are common RDV-004 coins. But, could someone here with a little more knowledge help me confirm that. Thanks. 1965 1966 1967
Can anyone help me with this? I know I asked a similar question about some 1970s about a year ago and @Rick Stachowski was able to provide some clarification.
Just getting in from father's day . The 65 is RDV-005 . The 66 is RVD-004, make sure to check the space between the " ES " of states . Along with the rest of the images to . The 67 is RVD-004 . I see your avatar is a football card . My brother just picked up a rookie tom brady card, which is the rare 2000 year . If I post some good images of it, can you help use grade it . I know with the tier system, it can cost a lot of money to grade it . As much as $2000.00 dollar ( psa ) ..
Shoot me a PM and I will do my best to help you. Right now PSA is actually not even accepting submissions as they are so backed up.
I think that’s true. PCGS I’ve heard is really backed up too…that’s their coin brand. PSA is much bigger and does a ton more volume though. I’ve heard they are months behind. I’ve never submitted anything to psa. All my slabbed cards came that way. The highlight of my collection is a Joe Namath rookie, PSA4.
my brother neighbor sold the house, and throw out two army trunks full of football cards . They were her son cards , The brady card is in a hard covered sleeve, along with all kinds of rare cards in hard cover sleeve to .
