Hi guys, I have this 1965 Washington Error Quarter and notice that there is a collar clash on the obverse, and a copper flake below Washington's nose and at the bottom of the quarter on the obverse rim below the "9" and "6" in the date. Can someone please explain what this is?
Looks to me like there was a drop of glue or something there, and everything but that little part came off. I could be wrong though.
Did they make any silver copper 1965’s. I have one that sounds silver somewhat. Looks like it too I found this mixed it with a full CWR OF SILVER
I'd be happy to examine it for you and take HD photos. Just pay shipping there and back. I don't charge, and you get to keep the photos. ~Joe C.
Never checked the edge. Duh. Found in 2 full CWR of silver quarters (I think )Ran out an bought a book. Lincoln Coins on Tupper st Buffalo. Gentlemen gave me a S Kennedy in change. Was hooked.
Oh you know what else. A gentleman viewed my picture and sent me 3 quarters he didn’t see. He’s in the book. What a great weekend
