What grade is this?

    $50 was, I'm afraid, a bit too much. The coin looks like a dipped 58-62. I'd pay no more than $20.

    Buy the book before the coin!!! Don't be a clueless buyer!

    Can't tell.
    Scanners don't work nearly as well as digital cameras.

    I'd probably call it a 63. Yeah, $50 was too much, but not as bad as it could have been.

    I saw one at my local coin store that was NGC MS 64, for $55. I would say you over paid for it.

    The photo/scan looks like an MS62 to MS63. When I finally got to looking at the date I thought I saw 1893:eek: but then I blinked & saw it ended in an 8:eek:.

    I too had look twice thinking it was a 1893.
    look to be Bu MS-60-62
