Found this roll hunting a bit ago pretty little cent. I was just trying to get some one to see if there are any doubling on this cent. Seems like all the letters are much bigger than most of the cents I have so I was just curious.
ID on your coin should require a loupe and this info. http://www.varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/DDO 1972.htm
I had this camare taking good pictures now it's like I can't get a good shot with it. I cleaned the camera part still don't work good enough. I think it's got to do with the light I am guessing. I will try to take better pictures if I can.
Thanks for the info my coin seems to match up with one of the dates. Now the one date that is on there is for sure not mine. It has a lot of doubling on it some of the letters kinda looks like mine not percent but some of it does seem to match. I think I will keep it I don't want to throw a good coin away.
It looks like your camera lens is smeared with oil. Common occurrence, your thumb or finger might slide across it while you hold the phone. That can make it look out of focus when it's not. Try spraying a small amount of Windex or other glass cleaner onto a soft cloth or paper towel and lightly wiping the lens of your phone camera. You'll likely see improvement.
Cygnus cc you were right own the money I want to think you for pin point that out I turned the phone over and there was a glob of something I don't know we're something like that would come from I want swear they will be better but they should I can't accept you guys say something about my coins when you can't see them I am crazy should been the first thing I should look at this phone not long ago was talking sharpe picture I mean you can details that cent soory about the grammar tonight I running late found just trying to get them out there I'm really curious about one I will take New picture that way you can see what their looking curious what the error is called.
The obverse has die deterioration damage. This tends to extend a portion of the lettering, such as in TRUST from the top towards the edge of the coin. I do not see anything of significance. Jim
