Hey everyone, i just got back the proof set i sent to NGC for grading, I got 5 of the coins back in PF70UC, and one in PF69UC, these are the first coins ive ever sent in, excited to get some good grades!!!
Nice grades, but what are the "average" proof coins being graded at? I look at my Proof coin sets and when I can't find any flaws I keep them stored and secure, as is. So, what did it cost you to get them all graded? Including shipping and Registered mail with insurance? You got some nice coins certified by a TPGer but many of us have just as beautiful a set of territory quarters still in the original Gov't Packaging (OGP). I'd rather spend my $$s on more coins than grade modern coin sets. But, of course, that IS my own opinion. Post some pictures. I'd love to see how the TPG are grading modern coin issues. Bruce
I have 2 sets, I wanted to get one set graded to try to get a PF70 set, i got 5 in PF70 just need the other. the price was $90 for 6 coins, Ive got some older coins I would like to get graded in the future.
according to the price guide on NGC, the numismedia price guide says they are $40-60 dollars a piece in PF70UltraCameo
Congradulatons. I have a set of 70's in the silver proof and clad proof. Only 70's I've ever owned. I think they are very attractive and unique. I wanted to own something in PF70 and Ichose these. I wish I knew what the NGC population on the PF 70s are.
