Great Britain shilling 1857/7, large '57'

    Below for comment find an 1857 shilling in my collection that appears to be a '7/7' re-punched variety. In addition the '5'&'7' appear to be a larger font than the '1' & '9'.

    Yes, good spot there. Dies were hand punched and many "adjustments" were made. Nice look, I'm going to check my own thanks to you.
