U.S. Silver Dollars from the 1850s looked like this. Sorry, I don't have an 1851 Silver Dollar.



U.S Gold Dollars looked like this. They were very small, only 13 mm in diameter.



The U.S. Government did not issued paper dollars until the Civil War.

Indian Cents looked like this, but the first one was issued for general circulation in 1859.
