Worth saving a few of those wrappers so I’d open carefully.

Is it possible that these are used for both denominations?

nickels should be blue ink, Dime green, cent red, quarter orange. definitely misprinting on the paper for the wrappers on that roll of paper.
I don't know how the machine that prints the paper works, but this gives some sort of insight, theres' nickels on both ends in green ink, and then there's nickels on one end and dime on the other in green ink, so clearly someone forgot to change out some of the nickel templates on the machine and intended to do a run of dime wrappers. I wonder if its a wide sheet and they cut it down after it's printed instead of being one long run to sized width before printing. this suggests the paper is printed on a wide sheet and then cut down to the size after printing and put on the rolls for the wrapping machines .maybe, it's rolled and then cut like a sausage. to the smaller rolls.
Maybe the roller people got a discount on the misprint paper. LOL

Thanks for sharing though. I can't imagine how this would matter or be of value to someone besides just being interesting and something to ponder.

That's pretty cool! I don't think I would open them, keep them for conversation and take them to a coin club meeting to show to the group! Pretty cool find!
