Naming Special Coins

Interesting. That was the name of a step mom of one of the branches on my family tree. She was a Cherokee woman who married a (Cooper) widower relative.

You'd have my daughter hooked with that name. Anything with "unicorn" in it is an instant hit with her

 

I only have a name for one coin. It's a dark proof Seated half. It's called the "Thing".
A dealer friend named it that when he gave up trying to image it. Others that tried, also had a hard time with it.

 

Imaging is a long time pursuit of mine that teaches me that persistence does not always lead to success. I am HUMBLED by it.
