Does anyone recognize that holder. The ones that I own have a dark insert. I like the white one better. Seems to show the coin a little better. Mine are from coin world. That can't be a custom holder.

sooner or later he is going to get the pants sued off him. He's no different than a dozen others. I would hope such a suit would include a restraining order of some type.

    over grade

By this guy, do you mean SGS? It seams to me the grading co is at fault by overgrading, if you look up the value of the coin, if it in fact grades honestly at ms65-66 in dmpl it would in fact be worth a lot of dollars. We really need a good standard for grading, until then---Buyer beware.

well, and by grading co., do you mean SGS?

That's the problem here - you can fool a lot of people over the internet. What qualifies as a company, these days? If a guy sells TVs out of the back of a truck - is that a guy or a very small company? What about (theoretically) a guy that buys a bunch of coin slabs and a lazer printer, and slaps some loose change in plastic and labels it MS-70 and sells them on e-bay as professionally graded? - all theoretical, of course. Is that a guy or a company?

It has always been 'buyer beware', and probably always will be... that's why folks need to pay very close attention to who they are buying from, and what they are actually buying.

very true, an informed buyer is a wise buyer. besides that I like to hold a coin and view it with my own eyes when buying one.

vipergts2- SGS is owned and operated by the same gentleman who runs the eBay powerseller known as "aboncom".
