Thanks...I'm looking forward to meeting you! Btw, I'm looking for an 1847 Large Cent N2 in VF35-XF45 condition...if you have one you don't need.
Yak, that'll be great meeting you in Baltimore. And I only have an N4 in NGC AU58 right now, not an N2. If you check the pricelist on my website now and then, one may turn up!
What I have done for my nephews it to start a penny book up filled up to their birth year. Requirement 9d asks “For each year since the year of your birth, collect a date set of a single type of coin.” They still need to find and fill in there coins to meet the requirement. I also send them an Ike and Susan B Anthony and a Sacagawea and Presidential Dollar. I then throw in a $2 bill. I have one nephew who is getting into coins. With him getting into coins it will be three generations of coin collectors. I have created books of one cent and nickel books with what I have pulled out of change to show the scouts how much can be found in regular pocket change. When I was a Scout the requirement was to collect a 20th century type set. That was the start of my US type set. It all started for me when I was ten and my older brother was working on his merit badge.
