I just picked up a roll of Morgans on eBay for 20 bucks a coin....and the one with a red dot beside it, is an 1883 CC. I figured I'd never own one. I now have 43 different dates and mints. I am not really pursuing a set, but am keeping track of the number of different issues I have. Nightowl
Wow, what a nice early Christmas present! Now the seller is looking around his collection...gee, I know I had an '83CC here somewhere...:rolling:
It arrived, and here's the pictures of the CC. There are a few other noteworthy coins in the roll too...namely an 1882-S with prooflike fields, a real nice 82-P, and a 96-O in EF. Not a bad roll for 400 shipped. Nightowl
Very nice, looks like a solid 63 possibly low end 64, little concerned about the edges on the obverse holding it back.
I did initially forget the attachments...sorry. Some of the coins in the roll have been cleaned, but 4 or 5 are nice high end AUs. So I'm up to 2 coins for my initial submission to PCGS. The 1880 shield nickel and this coin. I can probably find 2 more worthy specimens in my stash...even if it's a couple modern gold Commems. Nightowl
