Coin 2 in Ancient Indian Square Coins

    Here is coin #2. It appears like is is post-Mauryan from Taxilla with an elephant and lion from potentially 185-168 BC. Are there any particular thoughts? It is a very heavy coin, showing signs of corrosion. IMG_20210604_211124700 (1).jpg IMG_20210604_211110714.jpg Thanks!

    I love the look and feel of these coins, somewhere in between Indian and Indo-Greek coins. This one really isn't too badly corroded for the type. There are a lot of varieties, but there's not a whole lot more known about them right now. I suspect that someone with time and enthusiasm (only one of which I have access to) could learn a lot more about them.
