What's The Reason For ODV Change

Anybody been watching ATB series ?
I have, and there's been a Obverse Die Change for the series .

Maybe too many DDO(s) ?

I can do better, here's a couple images .

The Washington crossing the Delaware reverse isn't an ATB quarter. It's a Washington quarter they went back to the old style fron 1998 with the date on the front and updated the obverse design some.

I'm hoping for a WCTD/Tuskegee or Tuskegee/WCTD mule but haven't seen one yet so I doubt it will appear, especially when they normally don't overlap quarter reverse design runs.

I'd say it's a new ODV but of the Washington quarter series, not ATB.

....Unless that's a tuskegee reverse on the 2021 that is and its the white whale I been keeping my eye out for....

 

Yeah. The ATBs are over, Rick, the Mint didn't tell you? They sent the rest of us special notices.

 

That's the first 2021 quarter I found in the change . Quite scarce in circulation around here ..
