Wait, he has worked for PCGS and NGC in the past? Now I'll be confused which one is "the best." He's surely needed at the moment. Hope he has a clear schedule. lol
Many of the top graders have worked for PCGS and NGC at some point in their career. Some have even done stints at ANACS, and some now work at ICG!
They are both the top tier of grading. Some people are unduly prejudiced towards PCGS, but both are equally proficient in grading.
I got that e-mail today, too. I was really hoping it was this guy ... but then I guess it couldn't be, could it?
"...says Mark Salzberg...we are very lucky that he is joining our team." But Salzberg forgot one word at the end: "...again." They must have made him an offer he couldn't refuse...until he gets the next one. Let's hope he works out and stays longer than he did the first time.

Flitting around from job to job like a butterfly does not look good on a resume if you ask me. I know we don't hire such flakes.
Go back to the early years at PCGS and NGC and you will find that most of their graders were trained at ANACS.
Frequent job moves are more and more common. And in industry categories that are dominated by smaller companies, changing jobs is often the best path for career advancement. I'll give him a pass.
