Anyone planning on going? I want to go very badly..my work schedule is the only consideration I have. RickieB
I went last year and it was awesome! Can't make it this year as I'll be studying abroad during January...next year I'll be there though!
May be a possibility for me! I have to pick either that show are the One in Long Beach which is a very nice one!
My schedule has been really crazy the past couple months, but I think it's finally slowed down...in fact, I'm on vacation as of today for the rest of 2009!! The FUN show is less than an hour drive for me so I'm definitely going to do my best to make it this year.
Dursin.. Glad to see you back here friend. wont you please join in our Security engraving group? Rick
For those of you who are going to FUN and have an interest in military numismatics . . . . . . an MPC mini-Fest is in the works. According to yesterday's MPCGram, they are shooting for sometime on Friday, possibly after hours. If you don't receive the MPCGram (and shame on you if you don't), find dealer David Seelye's table at the show and ask him about it. Fred Schwan, Joe Boling, Neil Shafer and other luminaries are expected to be there.
F.U.N. For Sure I will be there. Saturday for me. That work thing keeps messing things up. Hope to see you all there. Look for the bright orange Hawaiian shirt..
lol over 15k collectors and you'll be the only orange Hawaiian shirt... We coin collectors love Hawaiians and FUN's colors are orange. The members wear orange jackets. I think you should do like the tourists do and have a flag attached to us that has a big CT on it
I'm there for the whole show. If you see me make sure to say Hi. I'll probably be wearing one of my "Lost Dutchman Rare Coins" Tee shirts and zipping around the place like I'm on fire... that's how those shows go for me.
