    IMHO warning flag #1 is the hyped up headline. :rolleyes:

    Warning flag #2 is the appearance of his item. :eek:

    Warning flags #3-4 :( are found >> by clicking here << and noticing
    • that he has almost no repeat buyers, and
    • he has a relatively high number of negs

    Warning flags #5-7 are found >> by clicking here <<, >> here << >> and here << to see that coins are "not his thing" and he's not a likely source to authenticate a 16th century coin. :mad:

    (I'm not saying that I have listed all the flags, or that they are in order of importance - just that they're the ones I saw first, in order of sighting.)

    Bottom line - one, or even two warning flags aren't necessarily enough to walk away from an auction, but this is one for which I would use the 20' pole I keep for things where a 10-footer is too short. ;)
