    Maybe the date is 1944 on the other side. Such things do exist, but I don't think that's the case here.

    I have a little box that came with butter that I put in all my pennies that look like that. My Credit Union told me to put them in their coin machine. The coin machine wouldn't take them and then the coin machine broke. I guess 100 coins like yours was too much for it to handle. The teller still wouldn't tell me. I know that the Federal Reserve or some other agency takes coins like that. Anyone have that agency and their address? Thanks guys. (and gals)
