MS65, MS66 or MS 67 Full Steps? The price differance is huge...I looked at it closely with Picasa and iPhoto and it appears it just might get a MS67...I sure hope so because I'm sending it in to PCGS. http://picasaweb.google.com/rh28732/RecentlyUpdated#5414311230847680482 http://picasaweb.google.com/rh28732/RecentlyUpdated#5414311414799285810 Thanks!
66 no FS is my opinion. Looks pretty nice to me, but the steps look like they merge so no FS. Of course not an expert on these coins, but just my opinion.
Nice Jefferson... may squeek a 67 ...but I have to agree with Mark_h from your pictures I can't see if it looks to be FS. step availability ms 65 & up 5 FS 1 in 20 6 FS rare. mint coins exist but on this date and mint mark the majority have problems dull surfaces, spots, and areas of weakness. Very nice coin good luck with it. P.S. Thro I like to get a better picture of the MM as it could be a D/S ....can't tell again to far off for my eyes.
OK, Thanks, I'll try to get some pictures of the MM as soon as I have time. Yeah I think you are correct D/S. Just found a DD on a nice 1946 D FS I've had awhile yesterday. Funny I never noticed until I sat down to look it over. I'm using a hospital computer and I have limited time. Security is crazy in hospitals now. I mean everything is monitored including key-logging the network here.
Not worth sending in, in my opinion. PCGS likely will not give that full steps. Also not likely a 67. I give it a 66.
hi sir Looks pretty nice to me, but the steps look like they merge so, no FS. the tursts on the reverse of the roof looks worn a bit on its left side.. but a ++ the m in monticello looks kinda errored.. also the hair on the obverse isnt thickly defined neither is the ponytails or the bow in it.... Of course not an expert on these coins, but just my opinion id as a nice classy ms64 or 65 no fs..
Nice MS Jefferson there. But, I agree with the others. I won't make FS and it's probably not worth sending it in.
