2005 Buffalo Nickel With Detached Leg, To Make up for my earlier Kennedy Fiasco

I found this in a 2005 Proof Set. It even has frost inside the detachment which I thought was pretty cool. Thought I would share with the group.
I am cleaning out my safe and finding things I never knew I had
It is beginning to get fun finding weird little errors that were over looked when I purchased them.

Looks different, I am not sure though...I am confused with my own error coins.

 

Yep, they polished that die too much.

 

I'd say hang onto it.

 

Maybe it's the latest 3-legged Buffalo eh? I kept one of these proof sets with a chunk of something pressed into the reverse of the nickel. I can't figure out if the chuck is the shape of one the the raised areas on the reverse or if it is just a random shape of scrap metal. It does look pretty cool on a proof coin just the same. :high5:
