My son found this coin, he's been searching in his coin collection book but cant find anything that looks like it. I'm thinking it's not a real coin since there is no date.
Its fake/replica definitely that design isn't even for the $10 gold eagle it was used for $5 and $2.5 dollar gold coins,can you weigh it and compare the size.
Looks like a replica to me too. If the weight and diameter were the same as a $10 gold, that would be worth knowing. Otherwise it's almost certainly not gold.
Thanks, I'm guessing it was a fake or replica as well. The stars and lettering are wrong, and as stated above the design dosent match the coin it was intended.
