1964 P LMC with distorted letters and number.

    Attached is a 1964 P LMC that has the number 1 narrow at the bottom. The letters in LIBERTY are very uneven and look like they are different heights and widths. The letters are exactly as on the die since you can see the polishing lines going up to the letters and the numbers from all directions.

    The closeness of the lettering to the edge ( L most prominent as it is easily seen) indicates the coin was struck from a very overused die which spread from the center to the perimeter, and this distorts the coin's normal appearance. IMO, Jim
