Despite having to deal with some genuinely crappy individuals daily, one of the best things about working at an understaffed Home Depot is that you constantly get transferred between a half-dozen registers within the span of a 9-hour workday. In recent weeks since I found that IHC, the registers at work have primarily been stocked with 2021s fresh from the Mint providing a rather dull experience (aside from the periodic difficult customer). However, today proved to be quite the opposite. 1. 2020-W Marsh Billings Rockefeller ATB Quarter 2. 1943-P Jefferson Nickel (.350 Silver) 3. 1964 Roosevelt Dime
I worked retail for over 35+ years. Wal Mart the last 25. When asked to run a register, there were always a couple of difficult customers. Didn't chance swapping out anything at the register, loss prevention frowned at that. Had several employees bring some neat things which I ended up buying most of the time.
@Bradley Trotter If you're asking about the coins I bought from fellow employees, I would say the 90% silver, probably totaling $40 worth. A couple of jars of wheat cents over the years. Except for 5 "S" mint cents, they've found their way back into circulation. A couple dozen Buffalo nickels that I've given out at Halloween.
